How reliant are we on the internet? Due to the bomb blasts in London earlier we’ve been without internet communications at work all day which has affected all external email, web browsing and several processes that rely on internet access. While we’ve still been able to function, many departments of the business have been greatly inconvenienced by this outage. It makes me wonder whether we are too reliant on technology that can be so easily disrupted.
My thoughts are with anyone who has been affected by the terrorist actions in London today, whether they have lost loved ones, been injured themselves, or are finding it difficult to get home. I hope this does no increase any animosity towards any religious community, but instead galvanises both Christians and Muslims to fight against extremists of all persuasions.
