David Heinemeier Hansson also makes some good points.
There is no dominant future for the Microsoft tool chain for web development in sight. But I doubt the company will acknowledge that before it’s game over.
So, is that true? At a point in time when I’m considering getting rid of all copies of Windows at home and going completely Linux, this is useful information. Could you survive in a non-Microsoft world?
