In a break from my usual mix of web, business and random related entries, I’d like to let you know that my 1971 Marshall Super Bass 100 valve head amp is currently for sale on eBay. The market for these things is probably in the low single figures worldwide, but if someone can give it a better home then I’d love to speak with you. contact me the usual way or respond through eBay.
The sale of this classic amp is being managed by my very good friend Milan Lad, who is a phenomenal musician.
Hi Chris,
I saw your Marshall on ebay, what’s wrong with it? Why is not working?
Best Regards
Not sure, that’s mainly why I’m selling it. I’m not an expert in these things, but a friend who is said it’s definitely fixable.
I’m going to sound like a complete idiot and say I can’t remember for definite what part(s) were broken, but I have a feeling it’s a valve. I may well be completely wrong, though.
Hello!
Is the 1971 Marshall Super Bass 100 valve head amp still for sale.
I´d like to buy it if possible. I used to have similar years ago. I was mad and sold it. Now I am playing in a band again and there is a need to improve the sound and the modern transistor heads are garbage. It is possible to fix any valve amp. Peace of cake.
Greetings: Henrik
How much you want for it?’
Hi Henrik, I’m afraid the amp was sold very quickly after I put it on eBay. I’m glad it’s possible to fix any valve amp as I have another Marshall (a 100w lead head amp, which I’m keeping) which isn’t currently working.
Thanks for your interest, though.
have immac 1978 superbass with orig sloping 4×12 cab still in covers and on wheels, and orig receipt, recent ovhl. at Marshall M.K.factory. I`m too old now to keep lugging about, but like to brag as all ageing rockers, regards Graham.
